Chilled In a Field PPan and dino31st July- 2nd August – Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum

Chilled in a Field Festival turns Gold!

Chilled in a Field Festival returns to Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum on a triumphant note this year, as the proud recipient of a Gold Award from family festival experts, Festival Kidz. The all-volunteer-team is set to take it up another level this summer to put on an even more magical, shiny and above all fun weekend for party people of all ages who like to play all day (and dance all night).

Expect circus flair, shimmering bubbles, nature walks, science experiments, scales and sequins. Elsewhere on site, campers can hang out with fancy flamingos, explore hobbit houses in the woods or ride the miniature railway with canine conductor Fudge the dog.

Live bands will play all day, with the magical woodland stage given over to acoustic sets. Later, campers can get their groove on to DJs from some of the UK’s top underground parties and party all night at a silent disco rave in the woods.

Talking of which… the Chilled in a Field bars (run by a CAMRA enthusiast) will be fully stocked with real ales, fancy ciders, woodland cocktails and bottles and bottles of bubbles at affordable prices.

Camping is split into night owl for those who like to go late and lie in, and early bird for those who need their peace in the evenings. Glamping tents are available in both and camper vans are welcome.

Organic street food vans cater for little ones and the most specialist of diets at affordable prices and the site has full disabled access.

Tickets are under £75 for an adult weekend camping ticket with children’s tickets at £20. Check the website for low income tickets and free tickets for carers.

Festival Director (and Tequila Tasting Session Leader), Sophie Randles-Dunkley says,

“Having grown-up responsibilities doesn’t mean we’re not still party-people deep down.  Our little festival is a safe space to rediscover our fun-loving all-night-party roots in an inclusive environment.  Sure, we may have children, mortgages and careers to think about but for three magical summer days we can dance all night, watch the dawn and eat chocolate for breakfast.”
