Elderflower Fields is a small, independent festival, created in 2012 by a team of friends and set within the stunning woodland of Pippingford Park in the Ashdown Forest – the perfect environment for kids and grown-ups to fully escape for the weekend.

Now entering its sixth year, Elderflower Fields builds upon the award winning formula of a festival designed especially for families. It’s an exciting and unique experience that opens children and their parents’ minds to new opportunities in sport, music, the arts, the environment and food in the great outdoors.

In 2017 the festival will welcome around 4,000 guests to join the wild adventure, with more entertainment and activities on offer than ever before.

Nigel Greenwood, cofounder of So Sussex, the organisation responsible for Elderflower Fields says:

“We are really proud of how quickly this festival has bloomed and are incredibly touched to see the enthusiasm of local producers and musicians in providing the food, drink and entertainment. Elderflower Fields believe in supporting the local economy and protecting and promoting the beautiful Sussex countryside.

2017 will see many exciting festival additions split across six unique zones. We’re delighted to bring inspiring talks from some brilliant nature experts to our woodland amphitheatre, plus some fantastic foodies to introduce our new Campfire Cookout area.

Encouraging young and old to try new things, discover new adventures, and take a little piece of the Elderflower Fields magic home with them is really important to us.”
