Venue address: Rottingdean Beach – East of Brighton Marina
A little east of Brighton Marina, there are beautiful white chalk cliffs and rocky beach of Rottingdean. You may be lucky enough to catch some crabs, sea anemone and other shore life. You can cycle along the undercliff walk to get there, or take a bus to Rottingdean. It is worth checking the tide times before you set off, since the best time to go is when the tide is low; Don’t forget rock pooling equipment, although there are some shops in Rottingdean Village that sell buckets, spades and nets quite cheaply.
